Smiling retail apprentice

Now’s your chance to be EE

Right now you’re probably thinking about whether to continue in further education or to get started on the career ladder. We think an EE Apprenticeship is a great opportunity to do both – you can start earning and get valuable work experience. And at the same time study towards a recognised qualification that will drive forward your career with us – and beyond.

Over the next couple of years, we’ve got our sights on 500 new apprentices to work across our business.

We’re looking for fresh new talent to join our Retail Teams in 500+ stores around the country and our Customer Service teams at contact centres in Plymouth, Merthyr Tydfil, Darlington, Doxford, North Tyneside and Greenock. We’ll also be saying hello to Head Office apprentices in Bristol and London. You can find out more about each of the opportunities, hear from last year’s apprentices and start the application process below. So what are you waiting for? Come and be EE.

Please note that applications for some of our Contact Centre roles are now open. You can click here to search live vacancies.

Applications for our Retail Apprenticeships will open from the 1st April 2016 however, and Head Office opportunities will follow later in the year. You can register to receive a job alert when applications are open by clicking here and selecting ‘New Talent’ in the ‘Job Category’ field.

EE is an incredibly exciting business to be part of. And we know it’s the fresh apprentice talent we bring on board now who will build on our success in the years to come. But what part could you play? Hear what Patrick Bradley – our Chief of HR – has to say.

EE in Scotland, including its retail stores and it’s Contact Centre in Greenock, has achieved the prestigious Investors in Young People Silver Accreditation, the only people management standard that focuses on an employer’s recruitment and retention of young people.

This represents a true commitment to the training and development of young people and demonstrates EE as an employer of choice for young people and testament to their effective practices around Youth Employment.

EE were named Macro Employer of the Year at the Apprenticeship Awards Cymru 2015. The award celebrates the outstanding achievements of our employees at the Merthyr Tydfil Contact Centre in Wales, who have shown unmistakable commitment to the improvement of skills development for the Welsh economy.

EE formed a partnership with Merthyr Tydfil College to develop a programme to support both business retention and recruit young people from the area. We know that developing skilled young people is vital for our economy and this award highlights EE’s dedication to apprentices in Wales and across the UK.
