Work Experience

A front row seat

We take our commitments to youth employment very seriously. We've developed our apprentice schemes in Customer Team and Retail to equip young people with the skills they need for their future career. We want to show them how to work with people and how great our company is.

Because we feel so strongly about the success of our apprentice programme, we don’t offer a more formal work experience programme for over 16s and would encourage you to apply for our apprentice schemes when they are open. Experience is not vital for these schemes as it’s all about us equipping the best young talent with the tools for their future career.

We also work with local schools and colleges close to our core sites to offer some work experience placements. We manage these relationships locally and contact the individual schools and colleges when we have opportunities. We want to give these young people practical work experience and an insight into life at EE.

We show people how to apply their numerical skills in work situations, communicate effectively and share ideas. In the process, they’ll make the most of their talents as part of a team and get to grips with the latest technology. It’s about tackling real-world business problems and taking control of their own learning and development.

If you’re on the hunt for an apprenticeship, why not head over to our Apprenticeships page and see what we've got to offer.
