As well as in store and through our contact centres, more and more customers are choosing to deal with us through digital channels. Our eCommerce team is responsible for giving customers a consistently great experience and for boosting sales online.
Key to understanding how the Digital channel performs is data. We use the insights it gives us to make decisions that improve the customer experience. The Digital Insight team uses an advanced toolbox to analyse behaviour across our website and app, test ideas and prototypes to enhance the digital experience, and to communicate our findings across the business.
eService is playing a key role in driving the digital transformation of EE. It’s helping us achieve our ambition to be #1 for Service by providing best in class Digital customer experiences – which make eService our customers’ channel of choice.
The Content & Customer Experience team makes sure that the customer is at the heart of everything we do. The team creates educational, entertaining and inspiring content and experiences for our websites and apps, for customers and new customers alike, in order to help them research, share, buy and get help with EE’s products and services. If you’re customer focused, can tell a great story and have an eye for detail, this could be the team for you.
Alongside all the day-to-day improvements we’re making across our various digital platforms, we also have lots of bigger, more exciting projects on the go. They’re the kind of initiatives that transform not only our own business but the industry as a whole. And our Development & Operations team are the people who make them happen.
What conclusions can we reach from the data generated by our websites, and how do we ensure customer insights are built into our delivery plans? How do we balance growing demand for Digital work from across EE with the available capacity? How do we make sure the right projects are delivered in the most efficient way to meet our strategic goals? How do we balance big, strategic programme delivery with smaller projects and content changes? What is the best way for us to work in Digital and with our colleagues across EE? And thinking further ahead, how should we develop our digital and social media strategies to make sure we always stay one step ahead? Digital Planning are the people we look to for the answers.
You’ll support the Head of Trading by making sure that the digital channel hits all agreed commercial targets in partnership with other parts of the business. By putting the strategic plan into action, you’ll work to significantly improve the performance of EE digital sales channels and create a step-change in market position.
You’ll take all our available digital data and come up with clear, actionable insight that drives our business goals. You’ll be brilliant at talking people through what you have found, helping them understand what action to take next. You’ll also use what you learn to drive the on-site testing, targeting and personalisation strategy. This will help us optimise our digital experience for eService and eCommerce across all digital platforms.
You’ll work across all the digital platforms, helping us manage customers who are seeking help and support to better connect, explore and manage their relationship with EE. This will involve creating the most effective multi-media communication tools and content, and considering how to best integrate with other Digital Help & Support platforms in the team such as EE Community, Social Network and Live Chat. You’ll also co-ordinate your efforts with those of other Help & Support teams across the business to introduce new innovations.
In this varied role, you’ll get to manage the end to end experience for customers online: everything from delivering new functionality and optimising journey conversions, to creating engaging experiences. You’ll work with data to understand the pain points and with stakeholders across the business to spot new opportunities and digital service propositions. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring Digital is the customers’ channel of choice for service.
You’ll write, edit and optimise content to help customers find out more, share info, buy a product or get help, with the aim of giving them a positive experience time and time again.
You’ll be responsible for defining the end state architecture and accountable for high-level technical design across EE Digital properties (fixed and mobile). Your efforts will support ease of development/integration, deliver a consistent customer experience, and improve speed to market and site performance.
You’ll provide senior technical leadership and Design Authority across multiple systems in the Digital Development Team. A senior software development professional, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud-based technologies across our entire Digital and App estate. You’ll also get the chance to make sure that solutions are designed to meet business and customer needs, matching expectations for quality, accessibility, security and reliability.
You’ll be our technical expert on Business Analysis, Impact Assessment and Functional Design within the Digital Development & Operations team. You’ll have specific responsibility for making sure that solutions are designed to meet business and customer needs, and for helping to shape the way we work to improve efficiency.
The talents of our Digital Team are constantly in demand. It’s extremely important to manage the flow of this demand, so we can be an efficient business. As a Planning Exec, you’ll be responsible for the tools that support this workflow; developing and optimising the process while looking for opportunities to make improvements to the way we work as a digital team.

During his time at Mobile World Congress, Marc Allera took some time out of his busy schedule to talk with YouTube stars Alex (Tech Flow) and Ash Tailor (AT) along with Leigh Geary from Coolsmartphone. They discusssed what it takes to be the UK’s biggest and fastest 4G network as well as what we can do to further improve the experience for all of our customers.
The guys were suitably impressed by us being the only network capable of allowing customers to make the most of the new Sony XZ Premium’s 1Gbps download capability. We're rather chuffed too.

EE has now brought 4G to another Scottish Mountain - Glencoe Mountain Resort follows Coll, Orkney, Shetland and Skye as regions already benefiting from new EE 4G sites. Earlier this month, we attended the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We were in the good company of over 108,000 professionals from 208 countries and territories. That's quite a gathering. Over the course of five days, the biggest names in tech showcased their latest products and innovations. Views were shared around topics such as 5G, converged networks and the connected world. As always, the event was buzzing with exciting developments in all things techie.
