At EE, Insight & Analytics is broken up into five teams:
It all starts here. Our Data Management team are key in making sure we have really good quality data available.
The Reporting team then take data, make sense of it, and share it with teams across EE who may need it.
Advanced Analytics can draw information from data to help make tough business decisions.
Sometimes the data we collect shows us problems that need solving. A big part of this team’s role is to test and iron out any kinks in our latest products before they are released.
Our Audience Management team gather everything we know about our customers and use this to create a really personal EE experience, just for them.
Evolution of Insight & Analytics
To help the rest of EE take full advantage of how clever we really are, we’re taking steps to make our insight more shareable.
We’ve already rolled out Adobe Analytics to the whole of Marketing and now run drop-in’s that teach people how to make use of the insight we can provide. Our biggest project has been to create a Knowledge Hub for other departments to use as a central source of information, and keep our position as the best and fastest network for service in the UK.
Who said data can’t be the new language of love? Well, it wasn’t our Data Analysts. By understanding complex data sets and translating them into insights our business can understand, they help our customers to fall for our products. Whether they’re exploring analysis methodologies or using predictive analytics to help us adapt our contact strategies, cupid’s got nothing on them.
No crystal balls. No tarot cards. No prophecies. Our Senior Predictive Analysts are smooth modern-day soothsayers with a fresh approach to seeing the future. By working with predictive models and triggers, they help teams from across our business to target the right customers in the right way. Experts in analytics, they use their power of sight to turn data into magic.
Every story has its twists and turns, but nobody likes a plot hole. That’s why we employ some pretty special people to make sure our customers always get their happy ending. By understanding huge amounts of data and analysing digital trends, our Optimisation Managers spot villainous inconsistencies before they arise and help rewrite digital journeys our customers can love.
Our Advanced Analytics boffins aren’t just good with data, they’re a dab hand at inspiring great customer experiences too. Yep, they’re pretty slick; whether they’re leveraging advanced techniques in predictive analytics or developing algorithms that’ll help us to spot important CRM insights, they ask hard questions to get us easy answers.
You know what they say; you got to get to know your audience. Well, no one does that better than our Senior Audience Managers. This group of confident communicators are the best in the biz. Whether they’re testing and segmenting our audiences or collaboratively closely with our key stakeholders, they find creative ways to drive our DMP strategy forward.
